KEYS ON THE KEYBOARD ARE NOT IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, WHY ???

We use keyboard in our daily lives it may be our desktop or laptop or smartphone. Sometimes we wonder why the keys are not arranged in alphabetical order.

 The reason goes back upto the manual typewriters those people had arranged in alphabetical order, However it was discovered that the mechanical character keys easily jumped off in this arrangement

 To prevent this problem these were in random manner the frequently used keys are arranged under the weak fingers this lead to the formation of QWERTY keyboard which we are using now a days.

 The QWERTY keyboard layout was discovered in 1860's by the creator of first modern typewriter CRISTOPHER SHOLES who was a newspaper editor lived in MILWAUKEE. Originally the characters on typewriters he invented were arranged in the alphabetical order on set on end of the metallic bar which strucked to the paper when used (pressed). however an operator learned to type at speed, The bars attached to the letter that lay close together on the keyboard entangled with eachother compelling the typist to manually unsticke the type bars and also regularly blotting the documents. A Business associate of sholace JAMES DENSMORE, Suggested that scripting the keys for letters commonly  used together.

 There are varied opinions on this rearrangement of letters in the keyboard based on the letters usage in english rather than the positioning of the letter in the alphabet is the logic of the QWERTY layout.
However QWERTY is designed to slow down typing speed to further reduce jamming. it is also using key from the top row of the keyboard.This random arrangement eventually became standerd in computers later followed by the devices made after that.

Step 1. First of all , insert USB Pendrive into your computer. Now Open Windows Explore with windows key + E and right click on the USB drive letter shown in explorer. Select Turn on Bitlocker


 

Step 2. Now click on Use password to protect the drive. Now enter the password you want to set in both the password feilds.


Step 3. Now click on next and next and print the key for future reference.


Step 4. Now encryption process will start and your drive will be encrypted and secured with the password that you have set.


NOTE:: BITLOCKER DRIVE ENCRYPTION IS AVAILABLE ONLY ON WINDOWS 10 PRO AND WINDOWS 10 ENTERPRISE.


Method #2 Using Wondershare

Step 1. First of all download and install the wondershare USB Drive Encryption from here.

"Step 2. Now open Wondershare USB Drive Encryption software and insert the USB pendrive into your PC/laptop. Select your pendrive in the drop down menu and select Secure Full Drive. Now click on install button.


Step 3. Now enter the username and password that you want to set for your USB Pendrive.

Click Ok and you are done. Now your USB pendrive is encrypted as well as protected with a username and password.

Method #3 How To Encrypt Your Pendrive Using DiskCrytor"

Step 1. Download DiskCryptor from here.

"Step 1. You need to open DiskCryptor after installing and then click on the USB drive and click on “Encrypt” on the right hand side.





Step 2. On the next window, enter the username and password that you want. Once done, click on OK to start the encryption.


Step 3. After the encryption process completes, click on the USB drive and then click on “Mount”
